CSR, Corporate Social Responsibility has become one of the standard business policies which can’t be ignored. It aims in enhancing overall of a company and moreover, it gives society an idea of what all these brands are doing. This plays a vital role in building public image and reputation of a brand. Many brands in India have successfully tried and gained mass responsiveness, here are the most viral among many;

Vicks, Touch of care ad campaigns are one of the most influential CSR campaigns which break stereotype’s and fought against all odds. One of the films in the campaign captures the journey of a transgender Gauri and her adopted daughter. In the most recent campaign, Vicks says every “child deserves a touch of care”, to break the taboo of skin disease by narrating a true story of an Ichthyosis affected girl, Nisha, it was tearful indeed.

Next comes Samsung, #SamsungCares, Samsung after-sales service campaign went viral on socials, ad featuring blind children who are waiting for Samsung serviceman to come and repair their T.V so that they can listen to their friend singing in a reality show, it was awfully touching.  “SapneHueBade” is another notable campaign of Samsung, the film portrays a girl who combats negative gender stereotyping to chase her dreams and study at Samsung Technical School, an inspiring story to elevate many and this is also inspired by a true story which makes it more striking.

It is always a hit or miss in CSR campaigning, a brand should be able to expand an emotional connect to its consumers and once that happens, you become exceptional in viewers mind which might lead to positive outcomes.
